Educators will modify an existing activity and in order to fully understand what is involved, create an example project.
Tasks:
Find an existing activity that fits some of your needs. Pick one with a project or tool you like and modify the content. Or, pick one with content you like and modify the project or tool(s). Below are some sites for finding existing projects:

Evaluate the existing project - Now that you've found a possible starting point, time to look at it more closely. Select one (or more) of the frameworks below to use:
Share/publish a rough draft of the remixed or original activity/lesson/project plan to your personal, classroom, or district wiki/blog.
Complete a peer critique session.
Revise the activity/lesson/project as needed
Optional - In general, thinking from a content/standards/skills perspective is desireable, there are sometimes reasons to work from a tool perspective first. Instead of using the activitiy sources listed in step 1 above, consider working from a tool perspective and then work in the content/standards/skills.
